divine-finds-june-2015

Australia has casual elegance down to a T, and no one does a chic day at the beach like my friends Down Under. For this month’s Divine Finds, I’ve pulled together some of my favorite things to bring the best of Sydney home to you. Why not add a little luxury and inspiration to your everyday? Any one of these exquisite items are sure to do the trick.

Camilla

There is no better way to make an impression on the beach (or so many other places!) than by wearing one of CAMILLA’s spectacular silk caftans. Legendary in Australia, CAMILLA is popular around the world with A-listers from Oprah to Kate Hudson. When I first walked into her Bondi Beach store, I couldn’t help myself, and left with one of her gorgeous gowns for each day of the week—and two for Sunday!

mor-cosmetics

MOR Luxury
Bath Products

With opulent packaging and rich, sophisticated scents, MOR bath products deliver the full luxury experience. Divine Living is all about enjoying every aspect of your life, and one of the ways I do that is by elevating my beauty routine with products I love. I was thrilled to discover this brilliant Australian brand on a trip to Sydney and have integrated several of their products into my arsenal.

le-soleil

Maison Balzac Candle

Handmade in Australia, Maison Balzac is my latest candle obsession. This ultra chic line of perfumed candles was inspired by founder Elise Posch’s childhood in southern France. In the fall I loved the cozy aromas of “Le Bois,” and for spring I’m loving the bright, fresh smell of “Le Soleil.” And of course the luxe packaging is beautiful enough for any surface in my home.

Australian
Opals by
Katherine
Jetter

There’s nothing like an opal to add drama and luxury to a classic blouse or minimal dress. Known as the “Queen of Gemstones,” this captivating Australian stone has been coming back in style in a big way. Lately I’ve been loving Aussie jewelry designer Katherine Jetter’s elegant and fanciful opal pieces, which you may have recently spotted on the red carpet at the Oscars or the Golden Globes.

marcones

Adriano
Zumbo
Macaroons

I knew my favorite
French treat—the
macaroon—was a global
trend when I discovered it in Sydney. In fact, I’m not so sure that these perfectly crisp and chewy delights from local chef Adriano Zumbo aren’t every bit as delicious as those from my top spots in Paris. And the flavors! Indulge in the sampler box for a taste of each.

food-fashion-love

Food Fashion Love

I got to know Fleur Wood over lunch in Sydney last year, and had so much fun interviewing her for this issue of Divine Living. Fleur has made the leap from fashion line to full-on lifestyle brand, and her second hardcover book, Food Fashion Love, has lately been making the rounds from my kitchen to coffee table. It’s filled with magical photos, recipes that will compel you into the kitchen, and party ideas that inspire celebration. Call your girlfriends!

Camilla Clutches

CAMILLA is not just known for her gorgeous cover-ups, it’s a total lifestyle label that dresses you from head to toe! The stunning collection even offers up some gorgeous accessories for your home. If you love a print like I do, then you might want to consider one of these bold canvas clutches. I love to style fabulous accessories like this with my more neutral looks to add some interest and flair.

delic-mag

Delicious Magazine

It’s no secret that I’m a foodie, and of course I love my magazines, so you won’t be surprised to learn that I’m a long-time subscriber to Delicious. This Sydney-based monthly regularly features some of the best Chefs in Britain (names like Jamie Oliver to Nigella). I’ve always loved its inspired recipes, profiles of interesting people, and chic restaurant coverage. Now that I travel to Sydney often, it’s also been so fun getting to visit all their divine dining recommendations.

swimwear

Isola Swimsuits

Isola is bringing glamour back to the classic one-piece. Whether you’re lying by the pool, snorkeling in a tropical paradise, or reading a favorite book on the beach, do it in one of these on-trend (but not too skimpy) swimsuits. The brand offers a variety of designs so you can find the fit that’s perfect for you.

towels

Kasaba
Turkish Towels

Made in Turkey by expert loomers, these fab towels from Aussie brand Kasaba are a beach day game-changer. They’re 100% pure Turkish cotton, lightweight, fast-drying, and big enough to lay comfortably on. Plus I love the simple striped design—it’s a global classic that looks chic on any beach in the world.
