The theme for the first day of our recent Divine Living Academy event in Paris was “Dare to Desire.” Over many years of facilitating transformation for thousands of women, I’ve been humbled to witness the deep inner work that allows a woman to claim the life of her dreams.
I feel the truth in the Dalai Lama’s statement that “the world will be saved by the western woman.” And I know that for us to be leaders, we need to develop a higher level of confidence and self-esteem, and stop making ourselves wrong for seeking financial freedom, love and the opportunity to have a greater impact.
When I first introduced the idea of honoring your “desires” as a central focus of my brand and message, I had no sense of the level of controversy this would reveal in women. But it only fueled my fire to realize how many smart, talented and capable women out there don’t give themselves permission to even get clear on their desires, let alone receive them. I realized we as western women have a lot of work to do.
In this climate, to desire something more for yourself is truly a daring act, whether it’s experiences, career goals, relationship desires or lifestyle desires. But it’s not a risk you have to take alone.
I’m delighted to share this intimate look at what happens when the women of the Divine Living Academy arrive in Paris for three epic days of business training, personal development work and transformation.
