Romance On the Road

A Divine Personal Life While Running a Business and
Traveling the World? Possible.

Yes—Valentine’s Day is this weekend. And hallmark holiday or lover’s delight, we here at DLM cannot ignore the scent of roses in the air.

The way I feel about it is somewhere in between. When I was single, I dreaded it as we all do. Now in a happy relationship for over a decade, I have to say that one of the biggest success factors in my marriage has been treating most days like Valentine’s Day.

In designing our life and business together, Glenn and I prioritize our relationship. The kind of time people typically reserve for Valentine’s Day—looking their best, going out, enjoying each other, doing something they love—we partake in on the regular. So it’s no surprise that we’re taking this opportunity to completely unplug, celebrate each other, and be romanced by the relationship.

Because our lifestyle is not exactly the norm, people have a lot of questions about how we make it work. How do you stand to be around each other 24/7? How do you work so well together? How did you find him?

First I have to tell you I didn’t always know I could have this life. Traveling around the world, running my business with an empowered, strong man by my side is a dream it took a lot of soul searching to uncover.

This week, I’m going to dive a little bit deeper into how this all happened, and what it takes for Glenn and I to continuously grow in our relationship together and have a life where we’re proud to say most of the time, we’re happy.

From the power of intimacy to transform your relationships, to how much to unplug on your next escape, to the best fun and flirty books to elevate your love life, consider this a woman entrepreneur’s guide to romance on the road.

  All My Love,
