The Summer of Impact
Getting Ready for a
Major Season of Work & Play

It’s the first week of summer here in the northern hemisphere and we are kicking things off with plenty of inspiration to get out there and play big in business and life.

We’re still in DC after all and taking our cues from the women who take action to create social change. To start we’re introducing you to renowned artist Candy Chang, whose fascinating work transforms public spaces and inspires deep connection between neighbors.

On the business side of things we have the first edition of our new Summer School series, where I’m breaking down my formula for hosting a high-impact one-day intensive. Launching the luxury destination intensive was my first big step toward creating a business that really worked for my lifestyle, so I hope many of you will benefit from what the past decade has taught me.

With so much discussion about leadership this month, I’m particularly excited to share my latest Behind the Divine column. Through some recent awarenesses, I’ve become passionately inspired to learn everything I can about becoming an amazing leader and maybe some of you can relate to why.

And for a bit of fun, enjoy a little style history with our round-up of the most iconic First Ladies of Fashion, go shopping with our list of chic outdoor entertaining must-haves and tour America’s capital with Divine Living’s Guide to Washington DC.

We’ll see you next week with a special bonus extension of the DC issue, featuring an interview with Food Network star Katie Lee on how to host an unforgettable summer soirée—just in time for Independence Day!

  All My Love,

P.S. What are your big summer goals? Any getaways, launches or up-levels on the horizon? Let’s chat in the comments!
